Exclamation Bumper impact strip removal tool
I have done the search for this and I was wondering is there a way I can remove the front impact strips without buying the wedge tools from the dealer, is there another method ? screwdriver with a covered tip ? and where would the locking clips be at on the strips , at the side marker lights ? thanks

yeah, take the corner markers off and then pry off the strips. they arent hard at all to take off. you can also use a flat head screw driver wrapped with a t-shirt of some sort of cloth.

just pry it with your hand where the edge of the light located, and pray that you won't break anything

Nope, I need to take my HID fogs off and the shop that installed em in the first place somehow drilled holes on my bumper right behind the strips and stick my ballasts against the bumper from the inside with screws

The best time to remove plastic pieces (including bumper inserts) is during really hot weather. If you can't wait until June, at least put the car in a heated garage and warm the bumper with a hair dryer (not TOO hot).
