Engine Oil Level

Hey guys last night I was checking the engine oil level on the car and the computer told me I needed two quorts of oil. This morning after arriving at work I decided to check it again and it said it was fine. Should I add oil or is the computer making a mistake. Please give me some info on this. Thanks in advance.

Was your car flat and level when you asked for the first and second reading? Even a slight tilt in the ground can give a false reading. The oil sensors do fail, so have your oil checked at the dealer with a dipstick if you are the slightest bit worried.
