W203 Alignment Specs?
W203 Alignment Specs?
Does anyone have the alignment specs for the W203 Sedans?
I installed Eibachs on my C240 this weekend, put it on an alignment machine and have the readings, but have no factory spec to compare.
What was measured was (L/R):
Camber: -0.6/-0.7
Caster: 9.6/9.6
Toe: 0.11/0.10 - Total Toe - 0.21
The car now pulls ever so slightly to the right.

Patronus:
Ours was realigned to correct a drifting problem to the right. The correction was to install the caster kits and crank in a small difference between the right side [which was pulling, so it got more caster] and the left. Here is what we wound up with after the adjustments at the dealer:
Caster: L: 9.51 deg R: 9.76 deg [to correct the right drift]
Camber:L: -0.12 deg R: +.029 deg [pretty much unchanged]
Toe: L: 0deg17min R: 0deg16min
The spec on toe for the front is 0deg11min to 0deg21min
The spec on toe for the rear is 0deg17min to 0deg24min
Translation: it sounds like a bit more caster on the right side will correct your drift; everything else I'd probably leave alone.

Eibach doesn't make springs for the sedans. I asked them if the coupe springs would work in the sedan and they said no. But since you no longer have a sedan specific suspension, these are the specs in degrees for the C230 Coupe....
FRONT
Camber -0.6 to 0.1
Caster .............
Toe 0.08 to 0.25
Turning Angle Diff -2.11 to 1.11
Cross Camber -0.4 to 0.4
Cross Caster -0.5 to 0.5
Total Toe 0.16 to .50
REAR
Camber -1.6 to -0.6
Toe 0.21 to 0.33
Total Toe 0.43 to 0.67
Thrust Angle -.25 to .25
Also note that even with front camber bolts they were not able to bring the aligment to camber spec. They got -0.9 on the left and -0.7 on the right. The rears were -1.7 on the left, -2.1 on the right.

They look right to me. I would be very surprised that the coupe would have a different set of specs than the sedan.
One thing I noticed is the huge range in some of the specs! There is no way I would run with those kind of differences from side to side!
