Coupe with front AMG torsion Bars

Has anyone installed the C32 AMG front torsion bar on their C230 Coupe?

If so, it uses the basic parts, nothing needs to be mod'd right?

I just got a quote of $547.00 for both the front and rear C32 AMG torsion bars (all rods, bolts, etc.) installed at a MB dealer. My problem is if they don't fit I am stuck with $283.00 in parts. I know the rear fits, but has anyone done the front?

On a side note, should I change the springs at the same time? Will the C32's fit the coupe? Part #'s would be great.

Thank you thank you thank you,
Erik

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the stock C-Coupe front torsion bar the same diametre as the C32? KW230 changed out his rear bars to AMG. The diametre of the fronts for both is 20mm. Rear is 16mm for C32 and 13mm for C230. You can check out KW230's thread a while back.

According to the original post:

Stock (sedan) bars are 20/13mm. C32 bars are 22/17. Because the stiffness of the bar increases with the FOURTH POWER of diamter, these represent 150%/300% changes to the stock bars. Not only is it stiffer, it is a LOT stiffer in the rear, which shows up as more neutral handling (a lot less understeer).

So there is a difference in the front.
If the springs will fit, does anyone have part #'s?
The service techs are a bit lazy...

Thanks again,
Erik
