Question 722.9 transmission trouble...

I 've noticed a little problem with my 722.9 transmission on my '07 C350 sportrscoupe.

Sometimes when i depress the throttle pedal to kick down, there is a time delay about 1-2 or 3 seconds to downshift to the second best gear for max accelaration. Do you think that it 's normal?

I've read all the topics about the Valve Body, the B1 & B3 rings and ETC upgrade. Is there any relation between my problem and the valve body, B1 & B3 rings or ETC upgrade?

Any suggestion for fixing that transmission trouble?

Thank's in advance.

bring it to the dealer and have them check if you have the latest software for the transmission. However, we have the throttle lag for the car as well. This is why some people upgrade the ECU or get the sprint booster. There were some discussions about this before.

How long is this throttle lag in normal cases?

When someone wants to pass along an other car, those seconds are very critical...

My problem in downshift lag for max acceleration and not an engine lag.

it takes like you described it. I do the throttle reset once awhile, and it helps to reduce the lag.
