Lowering Spring Review
Anyone wanna chime in on their experiences with their springs? Please use the following layout.
1. Difficulty of installation.
2. How much does it lower?
3. Stiffness/comfort?
4. Does it get less stiff after awhile?
5. Do you have shocks/struts to go with it?

Can you tell me more about the adjustments you mentioned?
After i reread what i wrote, i actually said i agree to what Brabus X2 said.. well, if i can fix this rubbing issue, its good for me.

i used to have Tein S-tech JUST CUZ i have no money to "pay to play" and thought it would be a temporary solution...
and yes, it does give u the look of a lower car, but hey... you get crazy body rolling, tires worn out faster(i think)
and you even have to spend some extra rolling your fender while you don't have to do any things with coilover... so when you resell your car you can just swap back your stock shocks on with hiding from people knowing that your car has had body work done...
now i have my set of Tein S-tech spring setting in my room as decoration... and yes, i sit on it and is FREAK SOFT!! wow it won't even able to stay for 200 lbs??

i can hardly imagine it was installed on my car before (like 3000lbs??)

because it made my car feel cheap and *****y...coilover is way to go, lemme guess, 800 for a good Tein Basic (MOD ONCE)
spring, 200 for spring alone, 150 for install, 100 for fender rolling?? and your shock would blow out anytime with aftermarket spring on...
well i woke up from that nightmare from lowering spring... even Advan thank me sooo much for listening to me not going for lowering spring....
anyway, that's my advice, if you want my comment for Tein Spring, i will give it 7/10 stars for look, 5/10 for handling, 2/10 for comfort....
hope it helps

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The car used to have a 5 finger gap up front (even on the sports springs) and a 3.5 finger gap in the back.
It now has a 2 finger gap up front and a 2 finger gap in the rear... the rears are not tucked like most springs do and the front is not high (so i didn't have to cut a coil like most H&R owners do).
I'm on stock 17" rims... it HAS NEVER rubbed even with 5 adults in the car.
I've been into modding since 1998 and i've heard people RAVING about lowering springs and how much of a difference it makes ...etc
The difference is there, it is flatter, it handles better, it sways less, it is lower, it is both softer and stiffer at the same time ... it's less jarring on disconnects in the roads , but it is also stiffer when you get into it and it's more glued to the road, launching is much better too... it does work... it is stiffer, i've taken some huge dips in the road, and it never bottomed out...
but then i've been in my cousin's supra, which weighs about the same, and it had HKS coilovers and Eibach sway bars front and rear...
There is no comparison between a PROPER coilover set and a short/lowering spring set... from personal experience...
It's a good cheap mod... but i think i would've at least done D2 coilovers.
The intrax are so stiff i couldn't compress them at all by hand, and the guy with the spring compressor had a ***** of a time getting them on.
I love them , but i think i need a stiffer shock to make it better... the car is no longer 'floaty', but it's not 'flat' when you drive it hard...
BTW, I had the Eibachs when I had my C230 Coupe (no SS suspension) and it dropped it about 1" and looked good, no rubbing, road actually better, handling slightly improved due to lower center of gravity.
