Removing rear dome light? CONFUSED!!

Hey everyone.

today I installed my clear corners. They really fit crummy, but by building up the rear section with a piece of plastic there as tight as stock, they are great!

Now I was replacing my interior lights with superwhites today. I have everything done except the rear lense. I cant seem to remove it.

I see the pry mark on the left side, but i try and nothing goes, i dont want to break it. I can yank on the right, but the whole houseing half comes, and still one half is wedged in there.

Im stumped!!

strange, i would think the rear interior light housing is the same on the coupe as in the sedan. i popped mine off with my fingers in less than a second. my only suggestion would be to use more force or wiggle it aroung once you have one side free. other than that, ? ? ?

You need to have a flat-blade screwdriver to push slightly in the left hole. There is only one plastic clip to hold the lamp. If you can dislocate the clip by the screwdriver, the whole thing will come off easily.
