for those with factory xenon....or upgraded to oem
does the factory xenon lights temporarily shut off when you hit the high beams? i read in a post that it goes out for about 3-5 seconds as it restarts. have any of you experienced this or is it supposed to happen?

I upgraded to OEM Bi-xenon and this does not occur with mine.

I have a 2002 C240 w/ factory Xenons. I have never seen the behavior you described and I don't think it's normal. Is yours doing this?

i have my set on order but read on timmyc230boy's lighting facts page that this may happen. perhaps he was referring to aftermarket. in any case, just wanted to make sure.
