since the dealer damaged my engine cover, they ended up replacing it with the updated engine cover:



now it looks like Drex and Jose's

at least it was a "free" mod

what makes you think I didn't use a tripod? those are all HDR at night, so there will be some stuff in them...

as for where I went, all of these were taken in Irvine

I got bored and since the front wheels were temporarily off (to install the new tires), I figured it would be an easy time to install the fogs.

They were the old Hoen Endurance fogs from my old M3:


Since they were the same bulb (9006) as the C230, I saved them and put them on the C230:


The picture doesn't really show the yellow much, but it's a nice change.

This marks the fourth set of fogs I've put on. OEM->6000k HID->4300k HID (my favorite but they burned out after a year or so)->OEM->Hoen Endurance

Oh and that's not rain it's actually water from this:


It goes through a softener canister and then through a de-ionizer and then through the nozzle that can mix the soap. Great for nighttime washing.

And lastly, most will find this funny. I completed a full LED interior for the M5 with mainly LED's that I had bought for the C230 over the years
