They actually sent the knob and trim ring. They are still waiting for the gated shifter. I was just looking at the rod and your right C24owner, we'll probably have to dremel...tap and die it. Not too hard though.

Im not sure that set up looks good enough to spend 600 bucks on, honestly it reminds me of the older C class where you could see inside the gated shifter and it doesnt look great but it definately tops the list on exclusivity...I prefer the look of the leather shifter boot....What would be pretty cool is if someone machined an aluminum gate for the 6SPDs...a real CF interior would definately make this shifter work...but so would going out and getting a Black series, my first purchase when I pretend to be a billionaires lost child and lay claim to the estate

I just noticied you live about 2 hours north of me. I'm still working with the dealer on the slotted shift gate. If I get that, than it's going in If not, well I'm trying not to think about that. I even have a guy at work who can tap the shifter's shaft for me. I just need that GATE!!!!
Stillkickin, if the mod becomes successful, I will go with the real carbon fiber trim. I just dont know how it will look with the tan interior. I guess I could go aluminum too.
