Two years later - I love my C
Ok, not to get all sentimental, but a lot of times, all we do is write about the bad stuff in these forums. Anyway, I'm out in LA for a couple weeks on business and for more reasons than I care to write about, decided to just drive out from Arizona. Last night, it happened. My car has now seen both coastlines of this great country. I've driven it though 14 different states. It's seen the brutal cold of Chicago and the searing heat of Arizona. It's carved through the Appalachian mountains and the Rocky Mountains. From the bright lights of Las Vegas to the open expanses of the Great Plains. My car has done it all, and it's done it with near flawlessness. Just before I hit the Pacific coastline, I was tearing through Topanga Canyon, road that looks like a ramen noodle on a map. Couldn't help but enjoy the whole ride through the twisties. Could another car have done all these things? Sure. But to me, the Benz handled it all with style and grace.

I got my ML55 when I turned 21, and boy did I feel like a pimp... it was SO easy to fall in love with that thing... who didnt want a truck that would mop the floor with most cars... well as I got through school the car started being common place for me... got kinda boring, lost its pizzaz... but for some reason, some way, some how, I am falling in love with that one too, all over again, its undergoing an update now but I have no doubt in my mind when the new suspension is in, the body work is done, and all the lighting upgrades are performed... I will be as happy for the next 4 years as I was with the first 4 years...
