why'd you scan the vehicle? craps and giggles? or was it running improperly? anyways it's maybe a leaking hose somewhere?
its hard to assume when you don't even provide a year or engine size :-\ is it supercharged!?
*EDIT* i did a little searching about the code, and i don't know where it would be located but you should try to find the MB's secondary air inlet.. maybe then you will find a cracked or collapsed vacuum hose?

its 2001 c230, and i read that the secondary air pump pumps air into the exhaust so the cat can burn the co2 coming out the engine, so basically my car just pollutes more, so is that a problem? cause i passed the emissions test so i dont care if my car just pollutes alot as long as the engine is working fine. whats your take on this? is it a waste of cash to fix a polution reducing part? for example i might even remove my cats altogether to get a free flowing exhaust and lower backpressure, i already removed the resonator and muffler, just straight pipe now
