it is cleaner because you can't tell where the muffler is. it sucks because if you lower the car a lot the middle would scrap. lol i took off my resonator because it was bottoming out too much.

i believe it is also a bit cheaper.

anyway, would anyone know what will happen if i remove the exhaust and just replace it with pipes.
will it be louder, or quiter??

im getting my quad tips installed this weekend and I was just gonna have a pipe run behind the bumper with a magnaflow. what do u guys think????

that's possible for dual tips, but for quad tips you have, it's gonna be hard, don't thnk you will have enough space to do that, tips will stick out too much

Sorry for hijacking the thread. For those of us with non-V6 or V8's heres my exhaust setup C200K.

Kleemann header and sports cat hooked up to 3 in-line mufflers (OEM centre cat removed) - Y pipe - quad tips. If i was going to do it again i would get rid of the spare wheel well as its a pain. My system did originally scrape when entering my driveway which has a slope, had it lifted a bit and since no probs.
