Who was it- pinstripe over the chrome mouldings?

how else do you get the chrome strips back on the doors and front fender moulding? the black clips that hold them on have to be pressed from the back side- which you can't do unless the moulding is off. the chrome on the front and rear bumpers comes off/held on differently than the doors.
there may have been another way to do the doors- but i'm not sure how one would go about putting the chrome back on.

ohh- i got ya. i just wanted to take it all the way off and wrap it around, that way it would be less prone to peeling off. that coupled with the fact i didn't trust myself running an exacto knife anywhere near the paint
