well, it's my brother's but since I'm gonna be paying for all the mods, I'm gonna consider it mine...haha...

It's a silver/charcoal 2001 C320 with what looks like all the options except the COMAND system...20,302 miles...got it for 32K...What should I check for since it is used???

Are there any mods that I absolutely have to do???

Planned Mods:

I'm planning to do a full over-the-top sound system with DVD and TV screens all over the place...any complicated wiring that I should be worried about??? After working on my dad's CLK I know for sure MB's aren't the easiest...also, any adapter kits out there to make the dash a regular DIN standard???

Exterior wise, Brabus is going to be the theme...Brabus everything...what should I expect to pay for the Brabus bodykit and Monoblock VI Multipiece in 19"???...also looking for those new headlights, Bi-Xenons??? where can I get info on those???

Interior...probably all Brabus too...not their full leather interior tho, that's going overboard...just the little accessories...

Suspension...what are my options??? I'm looking for something that will lower the car to maybe a finger-gap but still keep a fairly comfy ride, not expecting stock ride but something not too harsh...

Performance...I would go Kleemann is it was my car but no way am I spending money for my older brother to drive any faster...my S2000 won't be able to keep up haha!!! the max would be an exhaust system...

WHAT ELSE?!??!

p.s. yes this might sound unrealistic but I'm not planning to do this all at once...slowly building...modding, it's a way of life...

Nahmeanz, There are too many issues and questions here, dude. People will help, but they don't know where to start. You say you're not going to do all the mods at once, so maybe you can slow down a little and tell us which of your many ideas is burning the biggest hole in your pocket, and I'm sure someone will chime in on that subject.

haha...my bad...after reading over my post, I guess I was a little excited...so, yes, I'm looking for some help getting started, please...

Since winter is coming up, bodywork, new wheels, and suspsension mods will not be a priority...the audio system is the first thing that I'll be working on...are there any C's on this board that has done extensive audio work???

For starters, you can do a search on "Audio 10" and read the dozens of posts about folks who have swapped out their radio HU. I happen to like the Bose HU in my C320 just the way it comes, but there are lots here who fancy themselves as audio gurus.

One or two have gutted their systems for something completedly new, but most have tried to work within the MB family to preserve the remote functionality of the steering wheel buttons.
