c240 belt tensioner tool?
Does anyone know what tool is required to pry back on my serpetine belt tensioner in order to change the belt? It looks like it may require some kind of tamper-proof torx bit.

mbhackie,
Your correct about the torx bit, but has to be a "security torx" bit
(T45 or T50) to loosened the belt tensioner. There is a small hole about 1/16" in the center on the end of the bit. They can be purchased at some tool supply places. Good luck.

I found you don't need any special tools to change the belt. On a second look I found the belt tensioner is pulled back with a standard 17mm socket. The security torx is only used to access the pulley on the tensioner, which you actually never need to turn because the tensioner is replaced as a unit.
