I was washing my car this weekend and noticed a paint chip on my hood. I figured it was just normal highway damage. But when I got to the side of the car I noticed a similar chip in the rear quarter. They both are similar chips (about 1/8th inch) and they don't look like they were caused by sand or rocks they look like the paint just peeled off. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, everyone has had this problem. It's a result of the a "softer" paint and different process of application. I have chip where there should be none. The only place that is chip free on my car is the bumpers!

 

Is this something I should tell the dealer about or is it a waste of my time?
