Michelin Pilot Sport A/S or Sumitomo HTR+ for C-coupe
OK i've narrowed it down to two tires.... the Michelines Pilot Sports A/S are about 200 per tire...... However the Sumitomo HTR + are only 100 each.... It seems that the Michelin Sports A/S are superior in many ways other than the price... I was just wondering whether the Michelin's were worth the money compared to the Sumitomo's... If anyone out there has tested these tire combination, please share.....

I have Bridgestone RE950 on my other cars and they are VERY good. Maybe you can expand your choices to 3?
Michelin tires are good BUT very expensive, IMO, not worth that price. You're buying the name more than the performance.
Sumitomo...no comment!!

haha you're right..... although they don't have them for 17 inch rims.... my tire size are 225/45/17... they have them for the 205/55/16's though...... do you think 235's would fit on my c7 wheels?

No squealing when pushed pretty hard - and better wet grip than the P/S, from what I can tell.
I posted a thread on them a couple of weeks ago.

Judging by your signature, you like to push you car to the limits. With all-season tires, you are going to get tires that perform so-so both in summer and in winter. No all-season tires even come close to summer tires in summer and winter tires in winter. For the former, you'll do well with Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 (my recommendation - have had them on my Volvo S70 turbo), for the latter there are plenty of choices - Nokian, Gislaved, Blizzak... Saving a few bucks isn't worth it when it comes to safety *and* fun of driving, especially if you do like it.

I live in NY where snow isn't such a big deal, that's why i wanted a performance tire with good dry/wet traction and some decent but not great snow traction. I definitly do not need snow tires.... the kumho ecsta Supra 712 eh?... i'll check em out...
