Any opinions on buying the Euro Sport Grille on Ebay? It's selling for ~$100.
Are there nicer grilles out there, and how much do they cost? Please post pictures if you've got some.
Thanks!

I think the "sport grille" looks..., well... sportier! I was perfectly happy with the stock grille until I saw the sport grille with a flat hood badge, then I said I GOTTA HAVE IT! It makes the car look more like a CL or SL from the front. Can you imagine the C230 with a C240 style grille and stand-up star? Yuck! I think the days of stand-up hood ornaments is long gone. It just doesn't go with the sleek bodys of current MB's vs. their old boxy shapes. I hope someone offers the sports grille for the new E class in a year or so when we get one of them

Its probably safer to have a flat hood badge as well. The other day I was at my parent's place and took my dad's E to the shops...when I came back to the car after shopping there was this guy in a civic parked right next to me and he was near the front and in between my Dad's E and his civic...he had a kind of grin on his face...I am sure that if I hadn't come back at the moment I did, I would be paying for a new badge!!!

The Sport grill is already available for the new E-class. Formymercedes.com carries it.

I believe that changing your stock grille in the C Class make the car look more sportier rather than the raised Star. I can't imagine the coupe having the raised Star, nor the CL or SL!!!

I think if you have a sports grille for your C class then it would be better to have the flat hood emblem. The reason is, it would be funny to have two MB logos (one on the grille and a raised star on the hood). I think thats why all C coupe has a flat emblem, cos C coupe has MB logo on the grille already.
