Alternator/Battery warning light on!

Alternator/Battery warning light on!

My alternator / battery light just turn on brought to my local shop and they said alternator going bad, hes charging me $400 for parts and $120 for labor, is that price reasonable? need input pls!!!

Isn't your's a MY05? What's your mileage? May still be in warranty but you have to provide more details.
