Electric Supercharger?
has anyone installed an electric supercharger in their CAI? there are many people on ebay who are pleased with it. technically shouldnt it work? they claim 5-15hp increase. wats your thoughts on it?

I have a electric supercharger for the w203 "universal" I bought my first month of owning the car. I never installed it. I seems like Its a intake + , Sucks in allot of air.
Anyway if you want it Ill sell it $20 shipped.

i checked the website above and they have a GUARANTEE for the Hp increase, if it doesn raise hp they refund your money, they also have dyno tests for e36 m3 and various 911 porsches, so i know its too good to be true but these guys are showing the facts, will it actually work?
you have that electric supercharger? can you try it out on your car and tell me if you expereince any noticable gains, if you do they i will definitly buy it from you!

Remember, the electric power has to come from somewhere as no power is free. The extra load on the engine might not be less than the gain. I did a quick search and most of ESC on ebay were 5 amps, or 50-70W.
I think if these were legitimate performance products, people would be using them. I just did a quick google search and it seems like there are legitimate electric superchragers out there but they are much more elaborate and have a high-output alternator and 4+ leadacid batteries.

what do u know about DTM anyway? u live in the middle of nowhere in aryzona haha u livin on an indian plantation? haha

I don't think I've heard of anyone routinely running out of petrol each race as the goal is to FINISH the race, not drive the longest distance

I do however know someone who has an electric supercharger on his car. He has dyno'd and proven the install.
However, to run it, he uses four additional batteries on his car, with extensive modifications. So, before you inject more zingers, ask yourself, "Do I know who I'm talking to?"
