Should i replace seat control module in pairs?
Should i replace seat control module in pairs?
With 72,000 miles on my 2k1 C320, and at least 1 bad seat control module, should I replace both or just the broken one? I'd prefer to fork out as little as possible, but still want at least some peace of mind.
thanks

do the way my SA trick back at the dealer, you tell them you replaced one and the one you just replaced broke, bring them the old one and they will exchange a new one for you
Go with Kiras idea...seems the best fitting. If One of your modules died, its only a matter of time until the other goes...same thing happended to me.
Kira, I had my driver side module replaced by my mechanic, who obviously bought it from the stealership...my passenger side one broke too, do you think I could bring my original broken driver side seat module in to the stealership and they will simply give me a brand new passenger side seat module?
That kind of seems like a stretch...but if it works, me like!

no... what i did was we bought one "off the dealership" instead of 2
we just replaced the driver side one and then the SA helped us get the second module for free because anything you bought off dealer comes with a 1 year warrenty..
