me and mugen just took off my rear mercedes emblem today. painted it black and glossed it up! there were 3 pins with 3 holes. its one whole piece. you have to be careful not to snap the star from the circle part so starting wiggling it out from the CENTER not the outside!!![/IMG]

there would be a greater chance of spraying the other parts of the car, and then there would be drips to worry about. covering the car would be more work than just simply taking it off. the paint may build up somewhere along the edges, etc. it wasn't that hard to take out, really. similar to just debadging. we use spray paint, btw.

in the end, if the quality is the same, if not better, than he's good. there's no wrong way to do it, and with your attitude, you certainly ain't impressing anyone.
, but i also have the same first name as you

so now this is about iq/knowledge? jeez, we're all just people now. i highly doubt that your method is any better than just simply undoing it and painting it. it's not really that hard to take out, and it's always better safe than sorry. jeez, someone sounds a bit arrogant.

As far as my attitude, well, ask anyone here with a good history on this forum, and you'll see that I'm one of the more helpful members. If I do say so myself.

Well, where lancemb called what I said a ridulous idea, that was my jumping-off point. So, sorry if I came off as arrogant, but I wasn't too amused at his reply. If my way hadn't worked, I would have been the first to admit it - no one's perfect - I was offering what I think is a much easier way to do it, without the possibility of breaking the thing off while trying to remove it.

My intention was not to convince you to not do it, it was just an opinion. I know I wouldn't do it personally, that's all. It's not like you're not going to do it anyways, you already started a thread on doing it haha. I can totally understand that you like Brabus, so do I, so I'm not against you or anyone when you say that anyone else can understand that.
