Badge Removal on C-Coupe

Hey guys I removed the C230 and Kompressor badge on the back of my coupe, but I could not get the mercedes badge off. I disassembled the rear hatch to try and see if there was a bolt back there but diddent see anything. Normally you just heat the badge and peel with a credit card. Anyone debadged a coupe that could shed some light.

leave the benz symbol. it has 2 pins, so if you remove it, theres two holes in your trunk

Just work your way around the edge towards the center but try not to break the ring.

I got 3 holes. You can carefully pry it off with a flathead but be careful of scratching the paint.

Yes, but what about the badge?

I agree with that - there are three holes, in a Y pattern, if memory serves.

Be gentle with the removal. You could do some expensive damage pretty easily.

Perhaps a flat head with a rubber tip would do better. Then 3m tape the new brabus badge on the rear.

Brabus logos everywhere FTW!!! lol

me and mugen just took off my rear mercedes emblem today. painted it black and glossed it up! there were 3 pins with 3 holes. its one whole piece. you have to be careful not to snap the star from the circle part so starting wiggling it out from the CENTER not the outside!!!

i dont think you can buy it like that. i think you are going to have to customize it by yourself! good luck!

not bad!

I can probably get this done, vinyl-ed w/o removing the star, and w/o painting it!

but I think it'd look weird on a all black car. since my C320 badges are painted!

I don't know if putting a Brabus badge on is a good idea. It seems weird considering the fact that the only thing you have that's Brabus except the replica lip, I'm not a fan of that. It's like me putting an AMG badge on my car since I have AMG replicas.

Just my .02 cents.
