help srs light came on

help srs light came on

what i'm wondering about is
is there any way that i can reset the computer in the car to see if the problem is really big or maybe just that when i was working on the radio i disconected it for too long i mean the little plug on the top when you open the dash

SRS lights on my E240 was lights up couple of weeks ago, then strangely it was gone the day after

Hey,
I've had the, "SRS failure, visit shop" warning message twice now. Additionaly, I had another message--something like, "Battery/Alternator problem, please visit shop".
I've been meaning to get my car down to dealer, I'll let you know what I find out.

hey thanks as if right now my car has been at the shop for 1 week but i had to take out everything from the car and make it stock because i knew they would go thrugh every little part on my car to probably blame the problem on me so i have to pay but now that i put everything back to place they can't say sh@t

good luck with your car by the way do you have any mod in they stereo with amps or anything?

because if you do then its always good to install a power cap when you have amps

could be fuse or srs sensor. the dealer should be able to find the error code in the computer if it had happened before.

wrong answer....I had a prob with a CHK COOLANT TEMP message that showed up occasionally..very annoying...and guess what- the dealer could find no error msg, no record of it occuring....that is, until I came to pick the car up and the error msg popped up...damn it...they then kept the car another day to replace the cooling sys.
