Car is DEAD WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
So today i was heading back to my dorm from getting subway around 5pm, im coasting up to a red light about 4mph and my car just dies in the middle of the road, kind people help me push it off the to side and i call the police. after 2 hours i get it towed to inskip auto in Warwick RI, the car will start but idle EXTREMELY rough and the check engine light as well as the battery light is on, im and so frustrated right now and i NEED a car to drive back to CT tom. late in the afternoon, i have no idea what the **** the problem is...
anybody have an idea on what the hell my problem is???

Are you not in warranty? I don't want to second judge your actions, but I think it should go to the dealer.
If I knew anything about the 07s, I would be all over this, but I have no clue. I will say this, I have never heard of a W203 car, that just dies, and then can be brought back with a bad idle. When they die, it is the crank positions sensor, but then, it won't restart. Usually things develop with time. Symptons show, like poor mileage, bad accelerations, hiccups in performance.
Please do let us know the diagnosis.

if you experience rough idle, it could be the fuel pump. If the fuel pump fails, no fuel delivered = engine shut off. failing pump doesn't mean you can't start the car, but it may not be working properly at full capacity.

i have an 06 c230 ss and i have a similar prob...
happened easter sunday morning rpm started jumping up to 3k down to 800 over and over... put it into drive... didnt move... gave it some gas ... didnt move... just kept rough and " unstable " idle... died... turned it back on... worked fine... CEL came on and now its at the dealer.
i will get it back sometime tomorrow or on friday i guess... ill let you know what the prob is when i find out.

Last year w/around 65k miles on an 01 c320, all of a sudden while cruising at 40mph, the car died.
We tried to jump the car, but the engine would just keep turning and turning and wouldn't start.
After getting it to a shop, it turns out the alternator was shot. As a precaution, check your battery and make sure it is filled with water.

i have the same car and color as yours and had the same problem around 4 months ago. dealer told me it needed a "software update". i don buy it but it looked to me more like a fuel pump issue. no problems anymore

because i have to work with JLeviSW and SI to get it shipped out, im at school and work at home on the weekends, so not having a car for like 5 or 6 days is going to literately kill me

Also, did you tell the dealer is was SI Tuned? If not, not sure how they would even know. Should be fairly transparent to them.

Jon, owner of JLeviSW has been a complete life saver, his is working with the tuning shop to get me a brand new ECU by next week, this has to be HANDS DOWN the BEST company i have ever had to deal with!
