Yes - that is correct.
To go to the extreme you could also use eccentric bolts upper & lower with replacement of lower arm bushes with appropriate ones to accommodate eccentric bolts. There is a limit to how much negative camber you need for road use however.

Couple more crappy phone photos after driving through the rain:
![](http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r69/TruTaing/ForMyThread/IMAG0484.jpg)
Couple notes for this photo:
With the mesh mounted and being "rounded" by hand to the contour of my bumper, you can see how the glossy coating on the grill really shows off the little imperfections. Do the AMG guys have similar?
I measured again and the bumper is still roughly 4.5" off the ground. Which means w/ there has been no difference between the old/new bumpers.
Fitment of the bumper is spot on as expected from an OEM piece![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My hood seems to be mounted a little bit higher on the front than id like. Ive searched and cant find a good DIY about how to lower the stops on behind the headlights and/or the mounts that have the springs on them by each of the hood locks. Any suggestions? The hood by the windshield seems fine. Migg talked about it, but didnt have any good pictures. Maybe ill bump the thread later today :P

Called SPC, they directed me to Oreilly as a dealer. Just called, my pair of SPC eccentric bolts are going to be ready for me to pick up later today.
Just going with the pair of those to suit adjusting the front, don't see a need to go with an additional pair of fluted or eccentric with the adjustability lent by the single pair alone.
The only shop on this Saturday to do the allignment is the dealer, which is OK b/c I know they can align it properly (weighted bags), toe, etc.
I'm not telling them about the lowered springs out of fear that they won't even try -- and Im waiting to tell them about the eccentric bolts and rear adj camber arms until the tech has it in the back. Then I'll motion that I "added a couple parts to make his job easier".
The first few places I tried either said that they couldn't offer an accurate alignment on a Benz with a straight face, or that the fact I had any aftermarket part installed completely disqualified the car from being something they'd touch.
Incompetence and ridiculousness abound.

looks real good... i agree with you about redoing the mesh to make it less glossy though. overall, that bumper is so sick... nice break from the standard AMG look

Got the 265s mounted! Sadly, I rub just a tiny I turn onto steep inclines and I havent even had a chance to test w/ a full load of people. I'm just running 9.5" wide with et33 and im not that low at all! How are those of you with 265 running w/o rubbing in the rear? Im pretty sure Im rubbing a little protruding piece of plastic that is near the rear fender and not the infamous tab!
Suggestions? I still wanna throw on a 3mm space in the rear.

Half *** wash:
![](http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r69/TruTaing/ForMyThread/IMG_0088.jpg)
Tabs ground, all fenders rolled, and cambered in to -0.5 in the rear. Still rubbing a tiny bit in the rear on big bumps. Definitely gonna grind down those rear tabs more. So much work to get some 265s on.... Oh well.
The front looks much higher after rolling. Since there is so much more space and I've got SPC bolts ready to go, its time to go lower up front and get that camber to a less negative degree!

Looking good John
Have the same problem with the AMG mesh. Mine has some "dents" (for lack of a better word), that show up and irritate me. They weren't there before the clash with the armored truck. I suspect just the removing and reinstalling that was done at the body shop was how it happened. I will be plasti-dipping it this spring.

I'm determined to get these damn 265s to fit 'right'
Two pictures of my rear clearance while suspension is slightly compressed on this side so I can see where im getting too close. I would typically have at least a full finger's width between my tire/fender when NOT compressed.
Looking towards the rear bumper:
![](http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r69/TruTaing/ForMyThread/IMAG0497.jpg)
Experienced Rollers: Can this joint part of my fender/bumper be pushed out some? Im totally fine w/ grinding down this area a bunch more, but id prefer to keep more of it intact and push out the bumper/fender if possible.
Looking towards the door:
![](http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r69/TruTaing/ForMyThread/IMAG0498.jpg)
The guy who rolled my rear was hesitant about rolling this part of my side impact strips. For those who rolled your fenders, what have yall done about this to make more space? This thing just looks like bad news for my tires even though I havent hit it yet. YET.
I cant believe that I was rolling on 255s w/o a SINGLE issue for so long. 5mm more has never been so much hassle! And to think, I was trying to dream big and eventually throw in a 3mm spacer and run 275......![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
