Why is Tele Aid sooooo slow!?
Hello everyone!
I have nothing to base the teleaid service on since this is my first Benz. However, it does seem to take a long time to connect to some one when I press the "i" button on my C230
Here's what happens....
I press the "i" and the screen will read initiating call....<long pause>...the radio mutes and a tele aid screen appears on the command module....<pause>..... then some one will answer.
Can anyone tell me what an average response time should be once the "i" button is pushed?
Thanks,
Jim

I think they give you 30 minutes included
So it will probably take them 30 minutes to answer the phone. This way your freebie is up on the first call and you pay from here on out. Some else had a post where they wrote about asking for directions and it took so long, they got a bill for the call. I did notice the one time I hit the button it seemed to take about 1 minute.

Can you believe this is the Standard Operating Procedure for a company like MB!
