I'm in the market for an exhaust too. I'm trying to find out what is good, but from what i know the top brands are remus, carlsson, lorinser, brabus, renntech, rbtech, and super sprint. I heard the supersprint on a V8 and it sort of sounds like a loud mustang which i think is not what you want. Anyways i suggest you listen to the exhaust before you buy.

someone who lives relatively close to me has a c240 with a renntech exhaust, i saw it in a parking lot of the local petco. It had a nice exhaust sound, kinda throaty, but definatly deeper then stock.

i really want to hear a carlsson exhaust, i hear they have a nice subdued sound, then when you drop the hammer they growl
