In general are you guys happy with your C230's

As the topic says are you guys happy with your C230's, both the car and Mercedes in general. The reason I ask is because my girlfriend is buying one soon and I am doing a little research for her.

How is it in the snow as well? What is the power band like, and how are the gears ratio wise, etc.

well i don't have a C240, but I'm very happy with my C320. But if your gf is willing to invest the extra 5000 i think the C320 may be worth more. But in terms of handling and all that the car is great. I added 18 inch rims which has sacraficed my ride a lil, but i wouldn't trade the looks i get for the ride. Benzes are dependable cars which are sure to last a long time.

(Sorry, folks...it's the end of the semester here...I'm in grading mode.)

I can highly recommend that if you're not getting her the C7 option, take her to a snow covered parking lot and make sure she understands the dynamics of driving in snow. With ESP on, the car drives as you'd expect it to with very little slip and slide. With ESP off....it's downright entertaining.(C7 tires are too expensive to ruin in this kind of game)

Rick, at times, it was hard not to laugh/cry while following your exploits with your salesmonkey. And the persistant Dr. Iggy-monster never failed to add comic relief. (At least he's playing hall monitor on one of the other forums, now.)

Bad thing is, tommy has gotten me into eating those damn Taco Bell Chalupas... Can't tell the outgassing on my windshield for the green haze in the cabin!
