Need help!!!! AMG FRONT INSTALL
Hi i purchased a w203 amg kit :

now my body shop is installing it but is telling me the reinforcement bumper plastic is not fitting. i have a 2002 c320 sedan 4 doors. i want to know if people had the same problem as me? do u know which part do i need ? right now the reinforcement bumper plastic part number is A2038850165.

You'll need to find a reinforcement that works with the AMG bumpers. They may be able to modify the old one to fit but they would probably end up cutting pieces of it making it weaker. They pop up from time to time on ebay but i think you can check the dealership too.

Yeah, im going through the same crap now myself. Wish i read tee-tz's post before purchasing an aftermarket bumper + fogs on ebay.

The bumper actually looks really nice and is made of plastic not fiberglass but it doesnt come with the inner reinforcement either. Guess im going to have to do some retrofitting as well! This officially sucks. Im still hoping there is some chance that it will just bolt onto my existing reinforcement but i doubt it.
Does anyone have an idea as to what reinforcement to purchase or do i have to buy a few and just hope one works? Theres one on ebay now for a C32 AMG 02-04 but it has the washer package and my bumper + car doesnt. I have a 01 C240 if it helps.

there are several different reinforcement part #s for AMG bumper...
since u bought replica kit, u can't know which reinforcement will fit...
ur best bet is to try one, test fit it, return it if it doesn't fit... and just repeat the process 'til you get the one to fit...
