Black or Chrome Exhaust Tips

Mercedes Benz C200K Sport Edition and 04 C55 AMG

Black or Chrome Exhaust Tips

Hi all. Almost finished completing my car prior to my AMG III's coming back from the bodyshop being painted gloss black and lacquered. Badges have now been flat blacked only thing left is regarding the quad exhaust tips.

Do i spray them black and lacquer? or;

Do leave them chrome?

Thanks. Never thought of Flat Black. Might try HT one, can always remove if i don't like it.

Definitely go black, flat or gloss, either way would look great. Just look at yeuchau's car, it looks awesome with the quads blacked out. But of course I'm biased.

Thanks. You have convinced me. As my AMG III's will be Black Gloss guess i should go with Black Gloss tips. Your car looks good. Are you going to cover the chrome strips? i did mine with CF vinyl then sprayed with 2 coats of clear lacquer - no chrome left on the car. Will post pics when wheels come out of bodyshop.

Thanks for the advice and comments. Going to wait till wheels come out of bodyshop, fit and will decide whether to go flat black or gloss. Will post pics when done.
