got a dent..need help

I parked my car next to a sidewalk with grass on it and some people were mowing the grass...he had one of those automatic lawnmowers and it just sped off by itself and dented my whole door...i was just walking to my car from my house when this happened and i almost cried...
you guys think itll come out without much expense?? the guy is gonna pay for it..but i would still like to know..how much do you think itll be???

Can't tell from the picture if any paint was removed but I'd go for the paintless dent repair....I'm guessing $250.

+1 for the PDR. It retains the factory finish and leaves no evidence of damage.

PDR stands for Paintless dent repair. I'd try that first.

I think that the dent is too sharp and too large for a PDR, there are limits of what can be done.

If you get the door fixed through a body shop the saving grace is that they will only have to paint the bottom part with the paint seam under the molding and will not be noticeable because it is low and out of the way

I'd check with the paintless repair option and see what they can do.

I'd check to see if the lawn folks had insurance! Seriously, I had a window cracked by a thrown rock, and figured I was going to have to foot the bill, as it turns out the lawn guys had insurance, and covered a complete replacement.
