Did you put gasoline in it?
Welcome to the forum.
There are two things that can causes a stalling that you described (besides running out of gas) that may not trigger the CEL (if that's on then you neglected a huge bit of info). It could be the crank position sensor, very common on these cars. Right before it fails completely it may fail when hot and work again when cold. It's fairly inexpensive to fix. Many times it doesn't throw a code. Also, it could be your fuel pump or fuel relay. It could get overheated and fail and then work again when cooled. This is less common. Also, what's common in your car is the pcv hose that has a service campaign but that would make the engine run very rough and stall and you didn't say it was running rough before it stalled and that would make the CEL go off for sure for misfires and fuel trim.

Additional info reguarding the C230 stalling
Gas is not the problem, we alway put premium gas and did not ran out of gas. I took the car down to local shop that specialized in mercede benz, the mechanic checked it out said that the catalytic converter is out and it would cost $ 1,800.00 to fix it. Is it the correct price ? Is this symtom for this model ? Do you think i have more problems or replace the converter would be enough? Thank you

Do you know what chip it was
Is it covered under warranty or do we have to buy it? We just had a transmission flush a while ago. So you dont thinks it's the catalytic coverter?
