The new C class doesn't need the moleskins. I had mine tinted and was told that they changed the new C. 01-07 still need it though

That's good to know. How has your tint holding up Mike? No scratches I take it.

The tint in the 204 is flawless. Unfortunately, the 203 is scratched quite a bit. I've been lazy and can't seem to find time to have it stripped and re-tinted (with the skins) because I work 6 days a week and refuse to do anything resembling work on Sundays for pure sanity reasons. LOL

Llumar wont replace them by warranty because they're clearly scratches, not "cracks" as i was trying to convince them $150 out the poorly tinted window
DAMN! That looks horrible.

$29 to fix this problem for good with this felt kit. Well worth it IMHO!

Should i install the moleskin right before i have the windows tinted or right after, or does it not even matter?

you can do it after as long as you don't roll down the windows. i'd recommended doing it before, though.

03MBC320, those scratches look bad. Did the Tint Protector Kit work well for you?

Our C class didn’t have a single scratch for three years (we sold it) with their kit installed.

on another note,
I removed my panels and while the car was getting tinted I had the panels at home applying the mole skin. They tinted the windows all the way down.

I think they raised the price a little on ebay
still a little cheaper though based off my shipping cost
$33 ebay
$35 tintprotector.com
a whole $2!

Anyways, got the one on ebay and am loving it. Super easy install, just be careful not to break (too many) of the clips inside of the door panel.
Put it on before I put my tints on... to this day NO SCRATCHES!
before it bothered me so much when my tints were all scratched up.

Moleskin

Installation was super easy and a good learning experience to take door panels off later and switch out factory speakers.

Tint protector

Who here has actually received their order from tintprotector.com

I ordered a kit from them, After a while I emailed asking what’s going on. They keep asking for more money to send another kit. Yes I do understand COVID and everything has slowed down. But what I can’t understand is ,If that is the case, why have I received other orders from the United States which were purchased after my purchase from tint protector.

just saying buyer beware!!!!!!

We have received orders from Tint Protector for over a decade with ZERO issues. Their product is the best moleskin on the market hands down. Their customer service has always been on point.

They are based in the USA. Your from Australia? Covid19 is delaying USA to USA mail by over 10 days. It will get to you. Just chill.
