Lorinser delivery problems!!! advice...
I am very upset and I need any advice if possible. I ordered and paid in full on dec.2 the complete lorinser lip kit and the spoiler and the european impact strips they say and I saw that they have everything but the sideskirts-It has been 16 days!!! Should I get mad at the shop(a very reputable one)? Should I cancel my order? Or should I wait it out 'till the skirts come in? They blame CEC staff, they say that the main boss is not around and that the employees don't really care about attaining the sideskirts fast enough. Should I believe them? Anybody that owns a shop or has the side skirts is welcome to answer. I want to put it on b-4 this year is over!

Welcome to the world of modding monopolies. I experienced the similar instances when I ordered my Lorinser fully body kit and exhaust from CEC. CEC-LA took the money first and guaranteed that the side skirts will be in shipped from NJ to LA within 5 business days. Well, 5 business days turned out to be one month. Each week they give a lame *** excuse that it's still in transit, but I suspected that they actually didn't have it in stock in the US and had to ship from Europe.
Bottom line, I paid ~$6000 cash for the parts thinking that I was going to receive them in a week. It ended up taking over a month. So get used to it, don't hate the player, hate the game.

Wow, when we order from CEC, we are given dates as to when the parts will be available, and updates each week on the status. Do you really think that parts aren't ordered with out the main boss? We've been getting deliveries thoughout the month.

Well technically I did not order directly w/ CEC (you kidding I'd had to pay MSRP), I ordered w/ a very well known shop in San Fernando Valley. They (the shop) gave excuses that they could not get it from the east coast because CEC did not make it a priority to ship out, well thanks to a "friend" in this forum I found out otherwise.
You are right if I cancel the order I will probably start the order again and it will take another week or so to get the order, so I am going to tell them( the shop) they need to have it within 7 days(barring any "good" excuse) or I will get all my money back.
I like to pay items in full before I receive them because after the wait I tend to feel less guilty about spending so much money, and/or my chick loves to spend money so I tell her I have none
