C240 Rough Idle - Help
I have a 2001 Mercedes C240 with 115,000 on it. Today while I was out it started having a rough idle. I push on the gas a little and increase the RPM just a bit and it smoothes out, but at total idle it's rough.
Any ideas?

Plug replacement (all 12) cured intermittent rough idle on my car. My car is used mainly in urban driving and never gets a really good long run. If I put my hand over the exhaust I could feel the intermittent misfire. The minute I revved the engine it cleared. - Good Luck - btw - plugs changed at 45,000 Kms

Might be a vacuum leak. Check all your vacuum hoses and connections. I think there's a vacuum line that goes under the battery. If battery acid leaks on it it can melt a hole.

Hi, it sounds like an injector leak. I would suggested you to clean the injectors. You can try some injector cleaning solution such as ( Luiqi Moly injector cleaner ). This product is certified to be SAFE to use in MBs. After cleaning the injectors, change all the plugs too. OK
