C230
Thanks!!

Did you see the Motorola T605 I mentioned? It looks great as well. I just dont know about the install because I do not want to cut the factory wires/harnesses. I would want an install harness of sorts for anything I get.

Check post at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w203...ut-help-4.html

It shows how to hook up a Aux input to the back of your head unit

My car does NOT have Navigation or the premium audio. It has the standard radio with numeric buttons on the right and the volume on the left.

Thanks!

I have the 07 c230ss w/o the white plug. here's the diy link courtesy of TBirdsaw. You really don't need to buy the MB aux plug. You can actually just solder the 3.5mm female connector.. Hope this helps

do this! i did it yesterday. took seriously like 30 minutes and the parts cost less than 10 dollars. just get one of those old cd drive cables and get any 1/8" audio cable, i got a 6 foot one, both cost like 4 bucks. and it works great.

Did you ever resolve this? I'm facing the same issue and I'm not sure what to do.

Thanks!

if you don't have the pre-wire in the door you can just follow instruction in this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...e-warning.html

basically the AUX connection pins are not used behind the unit. all you need is to ID them, modify the aux wire with new pins and slide them on.

Thanks again Frank! I pressed the CDC button on my radio last night and the "Aux In Active" (or something like that) message appeared so I'm taking that as a good sign.

I found NO white plug, but there was an empty black plug. I pulled everything I saw out and took pics with my cell. Please tell me if this is ready for any type of aux input and what part number it is. As I said, my radio says theres aux there if I hold down CDC. Here they are:
I'm interested to know what this black, single row, 5-pin, 2 blue wired connector is for as well. I do not have the white aux connector that seems so popular. Please help.

I took my 07 c230 apart and found this black connector with the blue cables. But I think I am going to double check the door sill panel and underneath the glove box to see if it’s buried close to the head unit. If not then I think this blue connector might be it for the 07 c230
