I Drove on them for about 8,000 miles still look like they were out of the box. 1400.00 I think is a great price. Anyone else want to chime in
I'm going to see if I can tackle this with a little bit of math, bear with me.

Brand New Cost:
Rims: 800
Tires: 680
Center Caps: 50
Lugs: 45
Total: 1575

Assuming the rims are in perfect condition, the only wear and tear item are the tires, so I'm going to calculate how much you want for the used tires.
1400 Asking Price - 800 Rims - 50 Center Caps - 45 Lugs = 505

So at $1400, you're asking $505 for used tires that you paid $680 for, and the FULL PRICE that you paid for everything else.

I think that was probably the easiest way to explain why I don't think it's that good of a deal, but then again...maybe someone else will jump on them. Best of luck.

Actually, there is a bit of new news and it's not exactly good for those who are in a rush to get these...
Based on the pre-orders they have had for BMW and Audi fitments, production of the V715 is in full swing. As is to be expected with such a low priced great looking wheel, demand has exceeded expectations to the point where our 17 sets are not a big enough priority for them to stop production to make our test set. The ETA from Wilson @ VMR is 1 month before they will be able to confirm fitment and start on our wheels. The good news is that my initial 4-6 week production time estimate is much longer than it should actually take once they actually begin, so the actual delivery dates of late July / early August should be right on the money. Until then, we can do nothing but wait patiently. Hopefully this doesn't cause too many problems and result in people backing out of the group buy. Look on the bright side... this gives everyone more time to save up for good tires!

as a newbie in the modding world, what do u guys think will look better on a white w210? assuming there's no major customization needed to be done in order to fit the rims in

Rim question

Been toying with the idea of getting new rims/tires for the 06 C230 Sport. It currently has the OEM staggered configuration. Was wondering if I could go with and 18" rim, 8.0 rim width on all fours that closely match what I currently have. Was thinking of a 225-40/18 tire. Are there any adverse affects by abandoning the staggered configuration (performance, gas milage, handling, cornering, etc) and going with the same on all fours? At least I can rotate the tires! One of the wheels I've been looking at are:

(these are 18x8.0)

or

(these are 18x8.5)

Sorri if this has been addressed before. As always, thanks!

well those are nice wheels: the TSW is a nice wheel but is a universal wheel, so it will be easy to sell if u ever to go sell them, the Madrus wheels are made for a benz but IMO they dont look too good unless u get them in 19" the 18" wheel in the mandrus-millennium wheel look really small on the car. so i personally dont like them. but every has there own take on them. if those are the only two choice i had, after seeing all the ppl on the his for with those mandrus-milliennium wheel and the way they look i would go with the TSW. i know a lot of ppl would disagree with be but i'm not a fan of the 18" mandrus-milliennium wheel, i think they look a lot better in the pic then they do on the C-class

I looked thru this thread 2 or three times and it did not answer my questions and it's buried so far down the chances of anyone seeing it is slim to none that's why I reposted it. Show me where my questions are answered specific to my questions and I'll shut up (handling characteristics, ride, performance, handling with all wheels the same vs staggered). I just don't understand whats so horrible about a new thread with specific questions... nice friendly place.....

Actually, you're wrong. Here's the reason your thread doesn't deserve to be a "new thread".

See where it says "Last" on the amount of pages are on this thread? Top right of the first post of the page?...Well, that's what people have to click on anytime there is a new post from an old thread.

You're missing the whole concept of this being organized to have all 6 years of the chassis answered for newbies such as yourself.

Oh and to answer your question, there's NO reason you can't abandon the staggered setup because OEM wheels did not have OEM staggered setup. The only problem/consideration is if you have a 2004.5-present model, because that would mean you have big brakes in the front, which would also mean that you need to get different offsets for front and rear (unless you have an ideal offset that'll fit over the front brakes without any problem).

That being said, the VERY FIRST POST of this thread has offset calculators, tire calculators and other info linked for people to figure it out.

The forum is VERY friendly, but respect is earned when people actually research and READ. Let's make this clear, nobody on this forum is here to cater or baby or hand hold for newbies! Do the research, do the reading and maybe you'll learn something.

If you're too lazy, just don't expect any hand outs from veterans on this forum that have done all the hard work and research that is basically provided to all the newbies in the AFTERMARKET/DIY STICKY THREAD.

You will regret getting the Mandris wheels if you ever decide to get coilovers.

Well lemme tell ya, sonny.... I've been doing these "sites" when you were still pissing in your pants. Matter of fact, I do these "sites" for a living and probably have forgotten more about moderating then you currently know so put your "newbie" where the sun don't shine. I know exactly how and where to look but took a chance that I could get a quick answer since the deal I'm trying to make is gonna disappear real fast. Now YOU do your research.. page 445 of the 2006 owners manual... front rim: 7.5j x 17H2; rear rim: 8.5j x 17H2. Now tell me it's not staggered (by the way little one, I checked/measured the rim width and guess what? DUH!), so much for your "expertise". Tell ya what, delete my account from this forum. I'll not return again. To those who have been helpful, friendly and kind, my deepest thanks. To you Drexappeal: thanks alot for nothing but you wise *** mouth and holier than thou attitude. Your locality explains your lack of personable behaviour and is par for the course. Flame suit on! Nuff said......

You can run non staggered wheels on the car. I was running 18x8.5 Brabus V's all around but went with a 225 front and 245 rear. I wouldn't run anything less than 245 in the rear since it will not fill up the wheel well and look funny.

Reelax there buddy. Thing is you have absolutely NO idea what I did to get the w203 area organized. How 'bout you take a look around the forum for my posts, and you'll realize it took a lot of work for me to get this forum in order from the 10 million (I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not exaggerating) redundant/duplicate posts.

How old are you? How can you assume that you've been doing this longer than me? You don't know me, kid!

Uhhh...try again, dumb ***! Look up 2001-2004 models. Many of them (if not all) did not come with a staggered setup. In fact, the staggered rims were not available until 2004.5 models w/ the 5 spoke rims.

So, my answer to you WAS correct *******! There are people that have run non-staggered rims on 2004.5-present models that have the bigger brake setup in the front. Most people Run 18X8.5 ET 32 w/ a non-staggered setup, while also running 235/35R19 tires all the way around.

See, the main thing is, with your 2006 model, you have those big brakes in front, so you have to make sure the off-set is the perfect number for your rims to clear the front and the rear! BTW, you didn't even mention the stock offset for the staggered rims which is et36/et34. Did you know that? Oh no, you got the information from the manual. I actually have done my research on the w203.
