W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know
I am kind of a wheel ***** and i had OEM, aftermarket and replica set's of wheels and i used to refurbish wheels back in my school days.
The ones i had were good quality. Varnish did'nt flake or turn white. Had 1 curb accident and wasn't even that noticable. I had some OEM AMG monoblock 1's and that lip was bent with the same accident.
Could be that the replica would crack in a harder accident and the OEM AMG not. But i like them. The only reason i solled them was because spacers are illegal in Belgium. And i do lot's of Km's.
Front is going to be 19x8.5 offset 35
Rear is going to be 19x9.5 offset 40
I have read here that I will need atleast 8mm spacers in the front to clear the calipers, and I won't need spacers in the rear, even tho I don't need spacers in the rear, will i have to get longer lugs for the rear since the offset is 40??

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
If I ever move to a place with less potholes I'll have to run lower profile tires, 235/40/18 up front is just a bit too tall, but I'll take the tradeoff of more cushion for the rims anyday.

I'm running 32 offset wheels in the front with 5mm spaces, but I can easily put my pinky width-wise inbetween the rim and caliper, at least a 8-10mm gap.
Could I conceivably run the wheel w/out a spacer if I have so much room?

More Pics Please!!!
Gonna try and remove all the spaces as well, at least use 3mm spacer up front instead of 5mm, I think the stance is a bit too wide up front now especially with the 235 tires. All should be fixed within the week though.

wheel can sit on it and be sure its hubcentric. Anything after 5mm in the rear require a lip. It'll look like these. Plus get good ones like some H&R ones.
