W203/CL203 Aftermarket Wheel Thread - All you want to know
You can create that look with 8.5. You just need to get a lower offset. Hell you can get that look with 8" plus it'll give you space where you might not have to pull the fenders, maybe just rolling them. You can lower on the offset like +15 on 18x8 and achieve the concave look. With wider wheels you need less offset to get more concave or lip. With less wider wheels you need an offset closer to 0. That's why you'll see civics with stretch tires on 16x7 with +5 offset or something to get a good lip.
Even my old cls wheels had a slight concave look and they where 18x8.5 +28 18x9.5 +33
So you can probably do 18x8.5 +25 18x9.5 +28 and have pretty concave wheels, but it also has to do with the Wheels you buy. Some are designed to be concave like the VMR wheels.
F - 18x8 +32
R - 18x9 +40
Front barely won't clear calipers, so I'm trying to find out what size spacers to get for both front and rear, trying to bring them just at the fender for some stance
I was thinking 12mm in the front and 15mm in the rear, what do you guys think? Usually people run 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 so the 12.7mm difference is throwing me off in terms of what size spacer I should run for stance. For instance, if someone who runs 18x9.5 +35 in the rear runs a 10mm spacer spacer in the back for a +25 rear offset, should I run a way bigger spacer with my bigger offset and thinner wheel?

indeed, the fact that i'm running a .5 thinner wheel sort of throws me off a bit. i've been looking through the mbworld forums all day trying to get an idea of what would be good haha. i'm usually just a lurker so i'd just wanna take the opportunity to say i've always liked how your car sits! thanks for your time
edit: rear tires are hankook evo v12s, 245/35
front same - 225/40
