ernster - you have NO idea how bad i want a white c230 now
just got my images to work again and it looks awesome. i keep trying to use your image to get a diamond black color on it, but cant match the colors anywhere close to how it would look like
yeah, your car really looks lower from the pictures than what jpog's does. maybe just the angle? do another shot from the ground like jpog did, im curious.

My ride height is great with the new rims. It sits perfect. I will try and get better pics for you guys. Not really good with the camra. I think sometimes think that my car is different than anyone else with all the different things that go on with it. It always seems that something doesn't work with mine that works for someone else. This is the second time that something didn't fit that someone said it should. I don't know!!! Who cares the car to me looks great. Right now it is under the cover in the garage just wating for all THE SNOW TO DISSAPEAR AND THE PAVEMENT TO COME BACK. It will see the road about the second week in april. I think that is when all the sand and the salt should be off the road. See you then.

Me too. I need some spacers and hope the 3mm will be enough for the front wheels.
KickR, did you buy the centercaps yet? I didn't get them yet. I am going to use the stock ones until I get some blk ones.

going to pick up the spacers from supplier this afternoon and should be able to send them out tomorrow via usps. I'm doing a head count in my head right now to who needs the spacers.
Raulperez, kickR, Razor, ernster, artur023, and who else.

Hey guys,
Got my wheels yesterday and the car lowered and put the wheels on today, will post pics tommorrow. However the front clearence for C32 was Extremely close - I added a 3mm spacer as well just to avoid any potenial hazards. the wheel shop i deal with did not feel comfort in how close the tolerance was and niether did i once i looked at them. other than that these wheels are great and frank made the transaction simple,. Cant beat the price or the look once installed and I would do business with GRAND TUNINGWERKS again. Once again the wheels DID fit without a spacer, I just did not feel comfort in how close it was so I added the 3mm spacer. looks great will post pics in the morning - oh no problems finding hardware or tires. I went with Toyo's -
THanks Frank!!

Hey Vic,
glad you liked it. you actually didn't have to run the spacer. although the caliper is close to the spokes, the heat from the brake transfer to the caliper would not be nearly enough to make the metal expand to touch the wheel. I had ran all three of my previous rims like that with no problems.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
can't wait to see the pictures![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

no lugs cut, actually no problems what so ever. easily installed. straight forward. -- What does suck is on the way home tonight the lip on the rear passenger got about a 1.5" inch scratch that is bothering the hell out of me. not very deep at all. any simple solutions? is this something that can usually be buffed oout or something by a wheel repair shop? like I said its very minor but these wheels are brand new. if you know of any home remedies please post. other than that they are great and look very aggressive. I think the key to getting these wheel mounted is to go to a shop that has alot of experience. You get what yo pay for. I told them that I was basically bringing in a TSW Bremma , everything went fine from there. the only thing that I need is black center caps, right now I have chrome which does not look bad at all but the all black will look really hooottt!!!
I have a boner.

no. not curbed what so ever. like something hit them while i was driving and now a pen size scratch on the lip - the equivilent of getting a pen and drawing a 1.5" line on the lip. no not a curbed rim, mearly a very minute scratch. when i say minute , i mean not even noticable to anyone, but me. more than likely. not very deep at all. Definently not a curbed wheel or I would be going bezerk. but if anyone has any solutions for really small and light scratches on the lip let me know. I will post a pick tommorrow.
thanks
Vic

here are some pics - not very good ones though. I was windy and trash was flying everywhere. had to take them quickly -
I went with Eibach Springs and Toyo tirees, happy with them both. Also my little scenario was treally nothing at all just a scratch on the clear coat of the lip. taken care of. - I'll try to take better ones when the weather calms down.

well done. Love the look of the silver and the black. Congrats on 1 awsome looking car. I like the look of the chrome center caps with the silver.. Next change those side markers to clear. (Cheap mod that makes the car look a lot better)
try and get a black front grill. That is my next step. Just got the grill now just have to have it painted and put on.
Car looks great!!!!

thanks mate, as for the clear side markers, where do i get them? also does anyone know where I can get the C32 and AMG / V6 Kompressor badges in black. I think that would look great, like Dragonamg's car.
well I'll just ask him I guess.
thanks for the compliments.
