Hey Anthuny. I think it would look good on your car. I know it looked good on my friend Dut's M3 however the only thing that concerned me was the shade of our Alabaster white cars. It's more towards creamy than a pure white such as BMW Alpine white. Cream+gold just doesn't do it for me.
Dut had a lot of people telling him it would look ricey too. It turned out better than anyone ever imagined so what do you have to lose? If you don't like it just powder coat them something else.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
To add to this: I don't like mesh wheels painted black because you lose the detail. Why spend $4k+ on wheels when you can't see the design anyway?![slap](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/slap.gif)

I thought about doing the same thing awhile back when I found sdsilverm3's thread with the M3 but changed my mind. I didnt know how diffcult it is to take the wheels apart to have them powder coated, don't want to take the risk on a set of $4k rims. I found a place where you can order the BBS LM GT, which comes with gold mesh directly from the factory but you have wait up to 3 months(import from Japan) and it was almost $6k for the set. For that amount of money, I would just settle for the ones on the M3, HRE 540R correct? Anyway my votes go to Kinessis K19R, standard finish

you do definitely lose the design of the wheel in black, thats why i opted for gold b/c u can see the shades of the spokes still, the only thing i dont like is how when those LM's are colored..they dont extend the color past the bolt section, itd be nice to see the chrome bolts on a colored gold/black backround. ahh this would be a serious hit or miss lol, but i love to be different, hey atleast im not looking into getting red rims, now thats rice rice baby.
sdsilverm3, itd be awesome of you to photoshop a side profile of ur car with gold centers...

Here is a photoshopped version of the gold LM's on my car. I tried matching the color to a sample I was given off of an M3 and tried blacking some of the rivets. Can't say that I'm completely feelin' it but it's also not horrible.

I'd was gonna go for gold but I didn't want to redo my BBK's...I remember trying to convince sdsilverm3 to go for gold but he didn't seem so enthusiastic

Hmm, I'm very iffy on this. Its VERY Different, however, I think a more bronze tone would suit better then a gold. Esp against the calipers. Its like wlkaing into a bathroom with gold and polished chrome fixtures. just kinda black meets white, but in a metalic sense. does that make any sense?
Kinda throws me off with the chrome trim around the car as well. but to each their own.

yea its hard to say, but if anything i like the fully done wheel in the pale gold, the silver trims do clash, so id have to custom have that painted to match the car, and it might do well, but overall i think im still content on silver, it jus looks nicer and more clean to me. but it certainly is diff and i dont think it looks bad on the white at all, i do kind of like it, but i prolly would get sick of it after a while ha.

BBS LM style rims on a white car
Just give you an idea how gold rims look like on a white car!
showing in the picture is a even better rim CARGRAPHIC mainly for Porsche, similar to BBS LM but lighter. the car is a E55 estate, I like the look! FYI

oo i like the graphite finish...still light enough to see the design, and would look awesome against my white calipers. i might have to opt for that setup instead and it will flow nice with my carbon pillars/grille and rear diffuser. hmm
