I recieved this e-mail!!!
**** i knew this was to good to be true....This is the person i sent the money 2....
"My name is Laura Frost and I have been scape-goated by a company who called themselves Skyline Finance, Inc. I have forwarded an email that I received out of the blue after two months of no contact with the company. Originally, they had inquired about my assisting them with xfering of funds overseas for them. In doing so, I gave up my Paypal access. Now it appears that they think I am studpid enough to send them this money. Although you were not listed on the original email, they mention there may be others.
I would like to refund your money ASAP. Please advise that you have received this, and please provide me with the details of the ebay transaction, so I may better report it to those who need to know.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Hey look at it this way, at least I am honest!
Regards!"

you should probably start here:
http://crs.ebay.com/aw-cgi/ebayisapi.dll?crsstartpage

Skyline-Finance says they are an Ohio company, but the web is in Ukrane. I'd call the FBI, something is fishy.
I hope you are not a victim of fraud.
Don't send any details of the transaction to the Email, it might be spoofed.
Make sure you are connected to Ebay, and communicate through them.

Looks like this Russian has been hatching this fraud since February. Don't send any money!
Ask for a picture of the wheels with a current national newspaper in the picture.
I bet the phone number for the guy is a US VOIP line connected to the Ukrane.

Am I missing something?
How does this "Laura Frost" have any involvement with your wheel deal? The E-bay listing say the seller is "cockgo" in "Portland Oregon"...so I don't see a correlation between the seller and laufro5@aol.com.
The more important issue is that the same seller has relisted the same rims with the same picture and description at a different location (Guin, Alabama). Here's a link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BRABU...QQcmdZViewItem
DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THE EMAIL YOU RECEIVED.
This should be reported IMMEDIATELY to your local Police as well as e-bay/paypal with as much documentation (e-mail and screen shots of the original listing AND paypal transaction) as you can provide.
Good luck

WOW...dude this is a mad paper trail cover up. Think about it. The Original (Ukraine?) people get there money from the Laura Frost lady, but YOU think your paying the Ukraine person or w/e, but it's really going to Laura (which is probably a REAL person in the US or where ever, but she is legit) then she is getting screwed (w/o her knowing) by sending the Ukraine? people money, after she takes her 10%...but to the FBI, it looks like Laura and YOU are funding this Ukrainian company/people?...This is a huge scam that has been done a lot. The only reason why people get sucked in is because they say, Hey! I know some people that will be sending you cashiers checks to your address, all you have to do is cash them take 10%, then follow the instructions that the check came with. After this has been through numerous people it will eventually get to the Scammers, and the FBI is looking at a mess of a trail..

I have read your other post, and this one
I have no idea what this is, but have you sent the money already?
i assume yes,
this is only my idea,
1st contact ebay,
2nd, if you paid with credit card through paypal
contact your credit card company, the number on your back of
your card. DO NOT contact paypal before you call.
3rd, it's up to you, file a police report.
the reason why not to contact paypal directly:
of course you can file a dispute with paypal against this seller,
and you will won, since that guy haven't sent you anything or
any refund. But paypal will only refund you if the seller has money in
his paypal balance or his checking account.
eg. if you pay $890,
his account only has $100, paypal will give you $100 first
then if his checking account has $200, paypal will try to take it and
give you the $200, but how about the rest,
then you have to wait, for how long, nobody knows.

PS, the reason why i suggest you to pay American Express through paypal,
because they still take care of 3rd party transaction.
I believe visa/master don't want to be involved in this kind of transaction.
3rd transaction= paypal take your credit card and process it
charge fee to the seller and release the fund to the seller.
paypal is the 3rd party.
anyways, if the credit card company can't solve the problem for you
you still have i think 45 days to file a dispute with paypal against the seller.
But ignore the email that the seller sent to you at this time.
also it is good to know that the seller has relist the same item from Rick
because they still take care of 3rd party transaction.

I saw that picture of the wheels and car before. If i recall right they belonged to a member of this site who wanted to sell them a long time ago. the latest you should have gotten suspicious is when he told you theyre authentic and offered for that price.
I hope you'll get every cent back. Good luck!

i didnt notice this earlier when i commented on the wheels but why in the world would you send $800+ to a ebay member with 1 feedback? at the very least i would have asked to speak with the person on the phone first.
anyway, good luck getting your money back. if you used paypal you should be fine. i hate paypal with a passion (i have my resons) but they always side with the buyer.

Yes, the rims did belong to a member on this board. I believe his member name was Taibao. I know this because I bought those rims a while back last year from him.

i just noticed you have left the seller negative feedback,
so I assume you wouldn't send him an emal and ask for your money back.
but i think you can still send him an email like W Cole said,
it won't hurt for asking (PS that's mean you have contacted the seller before
you file any dispute)
also i know most people here advised you to contact paypal.
but first you must (or you already) know how they process your transaction.
if you file a dispute with your credit card company,
most likely they will force paypal to refund the money,
then paypal will try to get money from the seller
but if you contact paypal directly, paypal will try to get your money back.
