demographics poll
I, like you..go to work when it is dark..and go home when it is dark...so DST does not really help me....supposed to keep daylight a little longer in spring time....oh well...maybe one day I can enjoy the day light hours not working.....
I'm sure someone would pick this to death, too, but I would have suggested:
Northeast (Eastern Time N. of Virginia/Kentucky)
Southeast (Eastern Time from VA/KY South)
South (Central Time S. of MO/KS)
Midwest (Central Time N. of OK/AR)
Mountain States (Mountain Time N of AZ/NM)
Northwest (Pacific Time, WA/OR, upper ID)
Southwest (CA/NV/AZ/NM)
Eastern Canada (All in the Eastern Time Zone)
Western Canada (All other Time Zones)
UK
Friends everywhere else.
You folks in N. Cal/Reno can be in Northwest if you insist on being separate from LA LA Land. (Did you know that Reno, NV is farther West than LA?)
Just playing around on the internet while at work.
c'mon young.Isn't your better half from my town? Thanks for thinking of us MB-BOB.
Toronto,Ontario,Canada.
once, again, i humbly apologize for being so US-centric...
I moved here to Tucson, actually Oro Valley, September, 2000 ...work related move....moved from Chicago....
I like it up here in the NW....mountains (Catalina's)....but it is a haul to get to work....30 minutes with no traffic....
I really like Phoenix...my sister lives in Tempe and I spend alot of time up there...have Coyote's tickets.....like hiking Camelback Mtn...have done both sides last summer....but hate driving around here...both I-10 and I-60 are terrible....seems like I get hit by a rock every time I drive down those 2 freeways....
But I cannot complain about the weather...although the summer can get a little warm..you know....
would of replied earlier...but had difficulty replying again...
Spent about 15 years in N. Calif. mostly in grad school, but the Keys are home. And I haven't seen another C-Coupe down here yet.
BTW, shtatc, didn't anyone tell you that DST stands for Dark Standard Time?
heh, don't forget you only have 10 categories for polls. btw, mb-bob, i sort of assumed that texans would vote southwest but that group seems to be underrepresented. did you vote south or southwest or abstain b/c texas didn't get its own category?
BTW, all of you let me off the hook too easily. On my drive home, I realized I forgot to include Alaska and Hawaii in my version. I had expected some of you to take me to task for that. I remember we've had someone from Hawaii on the forum, but can't recall anyone from AK. Oh, well.
It's late. Good night, all! Yes, tommy, it's before 10pm central, but as you'll point out, a man of my advanced years needs his extra sleep, so I don't make a fool of myself while driving tomorrow.

We don't count do we? LOL!
At least not in a presidential election, it's over before we vote.
