Fault Code: 41 "Mixture adaption at maximum control stop"

Yesterday my CEL light came on whilst I was on my way home from work, so I turned around went back and put it onto the diagnostic computer. This fault was stored:
Fault Code: 41 "Mixture adaption at maximum control stop"
The car is running completely fine, But the CEL is on.
Never come across this fault on a Benz in my whole career, anyone familiar or have any ideas?

Its a 2003 C180Kompressor by the way. (m271)

Have you checked the cam sensor leak. It usually manifests itself as a CEL about running rich.

I'm not sure what that code means, usually codes follow the format PXXXX.

Now that you meantion it... there is some sweating of oil around one of the cam sensors. For god sake just when I want to sell it it starts costing me more money!

What's your fault code?
