In need of advice for the future

I just put on carlsson 2/6 19 inch rims on 235/35 dunlops today with stock suspension. My question is has anybody had any problems. My only concern is the back of the tire hitting the thing that is attached to the disk brakes in the front. the spacing between the tire and the thing ( sorry I don't know what it is called exactly, maybe shocks or strut ) is minimal to say the least. Althought the tire guy said that the tire won't rub against it, but happens if the tires are off balance or I get a flat, then it would definitely rub. I have a c-240 base sedan. if this doesn't make sense. Somebody tell me so that I can explain it better.

but

how does that help when the rear fits fine with lots of clearance but the front fits with minimal clearance?

It's the way the car is design, if you put the OEM wheels back on you wil find that the clearance between the strut and wheel is minimal. I had the same concerns until I reinstall my OEM wheels and found out that that is the way the car is made. Just try it and you will see for yourself.
