you can go with mtec, philips, sylvania. You can go with 4300k bulbs, you won't get more lumens but it'll seem brighter then stock because of the white light vs yellow.

HID are definitely the way to go for better overall performance (color + brightness), but then it also comes with the hassle of installation and computer programming to avoid error message on the dashboard, and of course it cost more.
Personally, I just bought Silverstars Ultra and they are great upgrade compared to OEM bulbs, both brighter and whiter.

I have the Philips Ultra on 204 and put Hella HID look bulbs in my sis 208. The blue tint on the bulb are identicle except the philp looks better made by very little margin.
my question is for those that have the Silverstar Ultra, how blue are the tint on the bulb?

Thanks for the replys. I started looking at the Slim HID Kit. Has anybody installed this or is there a DIY for it? Does this kit give out an error code?
