Broke Down Tonight - Any ideas?
Ok, I've had my C320 for almost 3 months now. I was going down the road and all of a sudden I lose power to the engine. I press the gas but nothing happens, when my speed dropped below around 10 mph it started jerking pretty bad. I pressed the gas but it would not let me go above 15 mph, and it was still jerking badly.
I pulled it over and shut it off. I checked the engine temperature and it was not that hot. So I popped the hood and about burn my face off, everything was really hot. I pulled the cover off and noticed some oil, the sealant was even melting a little.
I dont know anything about a cars engine really. I do have a 1 year warranty that came through the dealership. The dealership made it a clear point that there had been no engine trouble in the past.

You said its under warranty so take it back to the dealer and let them deal with it. Save you the headache of wondering and have them fix it under warranty. They may have just said that about the engine to make the sale to be honest.
