C240 W203 sun roof problem

Before everyone gets upset. Ive searched and ive read about synchronizing the sunroof but the details are really broad. And ive done it once before 4 months ago. But anyways heres my problem...

My sunroof wolnt open. If I press the switch up the roof just vents for a second closes. If I press down on the switch it does the exact same thing. If I press back it does nothing ,and the same goes if I press forward. I did run the radio for about an hour and half at my cabin last nite. So the only thing I can think of is the batterys low.

The reason Im asking is because when I press up on the switch to re sync it. The roof just pops up for a second and then closes quickly so idk what to do.

Can anyone give me a little insight.

Thanks

Me too! I am having same issue, to open you have to press as if you are closing the sunroof and if you would close it you have to press as closing the sunroof and it is only moving a split second.

Removing the fuse for the sunroof worked for me. I removed the fuse from the fusebox in the trunk for a few seconds and then replaced it. Then to reset the roof, I just held the button in up position like I was venting for about five seconds and that was it. Back to normal.

This did not work for me, the fuse inside the trunk #9. I pulled the fuse legend on driver side and it was titled as "tilt window". I pulled it using the grey plastic, waited 5 to 10 seconds, put it back and press and hold the up position button. Same thing ... it still opens one at a time. I use to have it when you push and there is a click to open/close continuously. Also the directions for the buttons are messed up, if I pull the button down to tilt it down it tilts it up. If I push the button towards to the back sit the sunroof goes forward. It's messed up ... I don't know what to do.
